Robert D’Paul Ward
Seventh grader Robert D’Paul Ward is in need of a bone marrow transplant to cure sickle cell anemia. Like an everyday 12 year old Robert likes basketball and hanging at the mall with his friends in his hometown of Fort Wayne Indiana. Although he has to receive monthly blood transfusions and visits the doctor and hospital frequently he has been able to maintain an A average in school. Robert is strong in his faith and is confident he will get a transplant. His mother Charmene Ward and family are asking the Fort Wayne community to join the registry for Robert and others in need.
